SignalSmith’s AI Agent is a conversational interface that can perform multi-step CDP operations on your behalf.

Overview

The AI Agent has access to SignalSmith’s full set of tools and can execute complex, multi-step workflows that would normally require navigating multiple UI pages.

Capabilities

The agent can:

  • Create and configure resources — Set up sources, models, destinations, syncs
  • Build audiences — Create traits, define audience filters, estimate sizes
  • Analyze data — Preview model results, check sync health, view audience trends
  • Troubleshoot issues — Diagnose failed syncs, check connection status, review error logs
  • Explain concepts — Describe how features work, suggest best practices
  • Manage workflows — Create and activate journeys, set up event forwarding

How to Use

  1. Navigate to the Agent page in the sidebar
  2. Type your request in the chat input
  3. The agent will plan the required steps and execute them
  4. Review the agent’s actions and results in real-time
  5. Continue the conversation to refine or extend the work

Example Conversations

Setting up a data pipeline:

“Connect our Snowflake warehouse, create a model for active customers, and set up a sync to HubSpot”

Building an audience:

“Create a high-value audience of customers who’ve spent over $1000 in the past year and sync it to Google Ads for retargeting”

Troubleshooting:

“Why did our Salesforce sync fail last night? Show me the error details and suggest a fix”

Session Management

  • Each conversation is a session with full history
  • Sessions persist so you can return to previous conversations
  • The agent maintains context across messages within a session
