Microsoft Ads

Sync audience segments to Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads) for customer match targeting across the Microsoft Search Network.

Prerequisites

  • A Microsoft Advertising account
  • Your Account ID and Customer ID
  • Access to the Microsoft Advertising API

Authentication

Microsoft Ads uses OAuth 2.0 via Microsoft identity platform.

  1. Click Connect with OAuth in SignalSmith
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account
  3. Authorize the requested permissions

OAuth scopes: https://ads.microsoft.com/msads.manage, offline_access.

Troubleshooting

Account ID or Customer ID not found

Find these values in Microsoft Advertising under Account Settings. The Account ID and Customer ID are different values.

Insufficient permissions

The authenticated user must have Super Admin or Standard User role on the Microsoft Advertising account.
